Harm-Ed Ltd delivers training and consultancy to businesses and their staff for self-harm, mental health and suicide.
Although we work nationally and have a small team of trainers based around the UK, our headquarters are based here in Burnley at The Landmark.
Throughout lockdown I worked from home but I really missed having company, so after one of my friends, who started working here, kept telling me about how brilliant The Landmark is, I thought I’d come and have a look and immediately I just loved it.
There is a really nice mix of a professional but friendly atmosphere at The Landmark and you really do feel respected as hub members.
You get to know the friendly staff on reception, any issues you have are resolved immediately and I’ve also made some really good friends – we even have a Badminton group now on a Tuesday evening.
As a keen walker, the location of The Landmark couldn’t be any better. You can have a wander into town at lunchtime to do some errands, whilst the nearby Thompson Park is a lovely setting to go for a stroll.
In terms of networking, there are some amazing opportunities here at The Landmark and even on days when I don’t have that much work to do, I come down because I enjoy the company and a bit of a chat.
We deliver training across a full range of services including large scale contracts to clinical commissioning groups, NHS and County Councils, where we will be commissioned to deliver 40-50 courses throughout the area to their workforce and if we ever need to do the training in this area, we can use the professional meeting rooms here at The Landmark.
Our main specialism at Harm-Ed is training teachers, social services, nurses and children’s care home staff about self-harm, to allow them to feel more confident, so anyone in their care who is self-harming gets a better response.
My main role is to liaise and arrange all the bookings and the facilities and atmosphere here at The Landmark are perfect for that.
I would absolutely recommend The Landmark to anyone thinking of coming to work from here and I already am doing to people I know because you are getting real value for money.
